Medically Home Announces Mayo Clinic Leader, Maneesh Goyal, as a Float Rider in the ’22 Rose Parade. Through Mayo Clinic’s Advanced Care at Home program, patients with serious or complex conditions can safely receive hospital-level care in their homes.

BOSTON – [December 20, 2021] – Medically Home, a technology-enabled services company, today announced Mayo Clinic’s executive Maneesh Goyal as a float rider in the ’22 Rose Parade, representing the clinical leadership shown by the expansion of its Advanced Care at Home program, which provides comprehensive and complex care to patients—all from the comfort of home via a new technology platform. This new model for delivering hospital-level care has treated more than a thousand patients to date in their homes or home-like settings. That includes Ann Arneson, who had undergone a bone marrow transplant and was able to recover at home or Shannon Scott whose severe rheumatoid arthritis has caused his lungs and liver to weaken. The Advanced Care at Home program is enabled by Mayo Clinic’s partnership with Medically Home.
Goyal is the chief operating officer of the Mayo Clinic Platform, which aims to improve health care using technological advances, insights derived from data, and artificial intelligence.

“Mayo Clinic Advanced Care at Home program has shown its value and has been well-received by our patients in Arizona, Wisconsin and Florida,” says Goyal. “With advanced technology, we are able to create a virtual hospital at home and provide individualized care that meets each person’s unique needs. Working with our partners that have proven track records of putting patients at the center, we hope that more people have the choice to experience this unique model of care in the comfort of their homes.” Mayo Clinic launched its Advanced Care at Home program in June of 2020.
